2021 University Librarians\u2019 Experience Sharing Workshop – Promoting United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals with Innovative Library Services<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you know what the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are? SDGs are used as the indexes for social, economic and environmental sustainable developments to guide governments and enterprises to create a prosperous society. In recent years, they have also become a reference for universities to fulfill their social responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Libraries are regarded as one of the important institutions to implement the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. We play the role of knowledge transmitters and provide abundant resources; moreover, the libraries are also the birthplace of creative ideas. How can libraries provide innovative services to implement the SDGs concepts? We plan to invite other university libraries to share their practical experience of promoting SDGs, so as to enhance librarians\u2019 understanding of and literacy in SDGs and to integrate relevant sustainable development goals into the development of library affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
