Update: Library Announcement Of Anti-Infection Measures

According to the latest relevant measures of the school’s epidemic prevention, the library services will be adjusted as follows:

1. Libraries suspend services for non-school patrons.

2. Libraries adjust service hours and methods:

     (1) May 23rd to June 30th

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 ~ 17:00
  • Saturdays and Sundays: Closed

     (2) Provides library circulation services and reading areas as usual. During the library closing session, the reading rooms are available at the 5th floor on Taipei campus library as well as the FF101 on Taoyuan campus.

3. Extension of the loan and reservation period in all campuses:

     (1) Extension of loan period

  • The expiry date between 2022.5.25 to 2022.6.29 will be extended to 2022.6.30, and the overdue fines will also be suspended during this period.

     (2) Extension of reservation and transfer request reservation date

  • For books that have been notified to pick up (reserved or requested books), the reservation date will be extended to June 30th, 2022.
  • Due to the extension of the preceding paragraph, reservation applications that have not been returned will be processed after June 30th, 2022. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

4. To Graduates, please return borrowed books before 6/30 to complete the graduation process. For more information, please access to “GRADUATING SENIORS LEAVING SCHOOL NOTICE”.

5. Home Delivery Service (5/23-6/30 only): MCU library offers a free home delivery service for library books.

  • Readers can request books online from both campuses.
  • Application Procedure:
    1. Please fill the online e-Form to apply for Home Delivery Service.
    2. Please search for the books you need throughout library online catalogue then place a request.

6. Book drop is opened all the time:

※ Please use the book drop to reduce the chance of contact (do not put DVD or CD-ROMs with books in); or send them back to the library in double registered form.
