Aside from studying subjects in your major discipline, students need to cultivate abilities and deportment in diverse fields through General Education, so as to apply skills and knowledge learned in each field to your profession.The library will have an exhibition of the general education books. The exhibition will be located both in Taoyuan and Taipei Campus from SEP 22 ~ OCT 9, 2014. You are welcome to participate in this great event.

The emergence of the Internet of Things not only leads to unspeaking objects starting to communicate with each other, but also implements wise information sharing and management. In line with the flourishing developments in taking control of Big Data, as well as finding trends and problem solving strategies from users’ feedback, more and more daily living products are smarter and more thoughtful, just like mind readers. MCU Library is going to hold “Internet of Things Book Exhibition” from October 20 to 31, 2014 on Taoyuan Campus and from November 3 to 14, 2014 on Taipei Campus. All MCU faculty members and students are welcome to visit the exhibition to extend your worldview.

The 21st Century is a dynamic era for developments, new trends and focus. Are you fully equipped to face the new challenges? In order to get your attention on the current trends in large corporation developments, Ming Chuan University Libraries have meticulously selected books, journals and e-books related to corporation development trends that will be featured in a book fair hosted on Taipei and Taoyuan campuses from April 7 through April 17. The purpose of the book fair is to prepare you to deeply understand the future dynamics and developments among big corporations. The library will have an exhibition of the best seller books in 2014 on Taipei and Taoyuan campuses starting from April 27 through May 8. The exhibition will feature the books nominated and selected by China Times in 2014, including specifically these categories: innovative Chinese composition, translated novels and beautiful life topics. Moreover, the top 100 books and best sellers that are recommended by Eslite Bookstore and Books On-line Book Store in 2014 will also be featured in the book fair. Gender Equity is an important issue these days; thus, MCU Library will hold Respect Equal Rights: Gender Equity Book Fair on Taoyuan and Taipei campuses from May 18 to 29. The book fair will exhibit collections of gender equity-related books and digital media. The purpose is to help you better understand yourself, respect others, embrace diversity and appreciate differences. Ultimately, this will promote a more beautiful and respectful society. All faculty members and students are welcomed to actively participate in this book fair.
