The library will hold a “2024 Lantern Riddles Celebration of the Lantern Festival” from February 21st to 25th at the Taipei and Taoyuan campuses. Participants can join the on-site riddle-solving activities and borrow e-books with titles containing the answers. Simply present the borrowing screen of your e-book at the circulation desk to enter the lucky draw for a chance to win a cute and soft night light! All faculty and students are welcomed to join us at the library for this festive event.

Event Steps:
- Attend the event to watch puzzle solving.
- Borrow 3 e-books in Chinese or English with titles containing keywords related to puzzle answers
- Chinese e-book app installation instructions: HyRead電子書、iRead華藝電子書、udn讀書館
- English e-book borrowing instructions: use the library’s catalogs to search books, and click here to see the instruction on how to operate it.
- Show the borrowing screen at the circulation desk to complete event registration.

① To encourage actual reading, borrowing Chinese e-books must exceed 10 minutes to count towards the event.
② Borrowing the same book counts only once. Please borrow different types of e-books or magazines!
Event Prizes
※ The list of winners will be announced on 2024/2/29 and notified via email.
※ According to ROC tax regulations, prizes exceeding NT$1,001 (inclusive) require prize reporting (with a copy of the winner’s ID card) and inclusion in the annual income tax return. For foreign winners, a copy of their passport and residence permit, along with prepayment of 20% tax, are required.
※ Actual prizes may vary. In case of product unavailability or other force majeure circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to substitute with equivalent prizes without prior notice.
