Celebrate MCU’s 68th Anniversary with a IG Story

On March 22, 2025, marks the 68th anniversary of Ming Chuan University! Starting now, grab your phone and say “Happy Birthday to MCU” inside the library. Post it on your IG Story and mention @mculibrary for a chance to win 2 piece of buffet vouchers (Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei) on weekday afternoons! One winner, two people enjoy the feast together!

📌 How to Participate:

  1. Say ‘Happy Birthday to MCU’ inside the library, post it on your IG Story, and mention @mculibrary.  
  2. Save your posted IG Story video. (See video format guidelines below)
  3. Submit this 🔗form(login required) and upload your video.

⏳ Submission Deadline: From now until March 12 2025.

👥 Participants: All faculty and staff members, and students.

🎬 Video Format Guidelines:

  1. File Naming: Full Name_Student ID_Happy 68th Anniversary MCU.       
  2. File Length: Within 15 seconds.  
  3. Resolution: Minimum 1080 x 1920 pixels, vertical format (9:16 aspect ratio), in MOV or MP4 format.
  4. Content: The video must feature at least one person speaking and must include the phrase “Happy Birthday to MCU” or similar wording.  
  5. Filming Locations: Taipei Campus Library, Taoyuan Campus Library or Kinmen Reading Room. (Any reading area inside the library is acceptable.) 
  6. One Entry Per Person: If multiple submissions are made, only the latest uploaded video will be considered.  

📢 Additional Notes:

  1. The library reserves the right to use participants’ videos for promotional purposes on social media, related events, and ceremonies.
  2. The winners will be drawn on March 26 and announced on Instagram Stories and the library website.
  3. By participating, entrants agree to abide by all event rules and regulations.
  4. A screenshot showing the IG Story posted for 24 hours is required when claiming the prize.  
  5. If a submitted video does not comply with the event guidelines, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant and revoke any prizes awarded.
  • If awardees hold overseas nationality, they are required to submit 20% of the prize value as tax payment along with a photocopy of their ARC.
  • The organizer reserves the right to amend, change, postpone or suspend the activity for all matters not specified above.
  • Notices regarding the change in activity procedures or prizes will be announced online and no further notice will be sent separately.
