To improve the quality of the library environment and air conditioning performance, the Taipei Campus Library will carry out a central air conditioning system replacement project during the summer break.
The construction is scheduled to take place from June 23, 2025 (Monday), to August 31, 2025 (Sunday), lasting approximately ten weeks.
During the construction period, air conditioning services will be completely suspended. To ensure the safety and experience of faculty and students, some areas will be temporarily closed to the public, including:
• 2nd Floor: Learning Commons Area
• 3rd Floor: Self-Study Center, Discussion Rooms, and Audiovisual Room
• 4th Floor: Quiet Reading Area and Conference Room
Basic services on other floors will remain in normal operation. Faculty and students may continue to borrow and return books as usual.
For self-study or discussion needs, please use the 5th Floor Multipurpose Learning Room or the 24-Hour Study Room (Building E, 7th Floor).
The project is expected to be completed before the end of the summer break. If completed ahead of schedule, air conditioning and affected areas will be reopened earlier depending on the situation, and a notice will be posted on the library website.
