2025-26 Academic Year New Student Activity: Walking the Smart Line, Knowledge on the Go!

Ming Chuan, Tamkang and Soochow Universities are connected by the MRT line, like the arteries of knowledge running through the city and our hearts, while reading serves as an inner pathway of self-exploring. The MRT system tracks the rhythm of the city, showing us the moving scenery outside the window. We hope this image of “reading pathway” creates streams of thought that transport the power of reading into your hearts.

“Walking the Smart Line” symbolizes a journey guided by knowledge, echoing the “line” of the MRT and the rhythm of daily commuting. It links the campuses and city, expanding learning beyond indoor settings, making it available anytime, anywhere.

“Knowledge on the Go” conveys the concept of “Wisdom on your side; learning non-stop!” Whether on campus, on the way, or in city corners, reading and knowledge are moving with you, blended into every moment of life. “Walking the Smart Line, Knowledge on the Go!” transforms reading into a journey of migration, combining the imagery of “reading walks” and “knowledge” to express the idea of continuous learning and growth throughout your daily movements.
