Discovering Ming Chuan through Blooms

Did you sense the sweet fragrances while walking on campus?

In March, the campus is transformed into a giant garden filled with natural “Instagram filters.” We invite you to pause for three minutes and enjoy a spontaneous “mini flower-discovery journey.”

Event Period: March 16 – 19, 2026
Locations: Taipei Campus, Taoyuan Campus
Participants: Faculty, staff, and students of MCU

  1. Capture Floral Images: Explore 🔗the map of campus flora; photograph flowers in full bloom.
    Taipei Campus suggestions: azaleas, wisteria, or the hidden flowers in the outdoor garden on Library 3F.
    Taoyuan Campus suggestions: cherry blossoms, gardenias, fringe trees, peach blossoms, flame trees, kapok, or bauhinia.
    Flower map is for reference only; actual blooms depend on sites / conditions.
  2. Post on Social Media: Share your photos publicly on IG/FB Stories and tag #Discovering MingChuanThroughBlooms + @mculibrary + location.
  3. Borrow Books: Present your IG/FB Stories upon checking out three physical books from the library.
    Complete steps above to claim a pop-up gift.
    Limited quantities – one gift per person.
