Please be advised that due to wall water leakage causing a partial electrical panel failure, the lighting and power supply in certain areas on the 4th floor are temporarily unavailable. To ensure your safety, the affected areas have been cordoned off and are temporarily closed to the public.
The General Affairs Division immediately conducted an on-site assessment. However, due to external contractors’ scheduling limitations and recent unstable weather conditions, the repair timeline may be extended depending on the actual weather. Consequently, restoration work cannot be completed in the next few days as originally expected.
During the repair period, please follow these guidelines for relevant spaces and services:
- Restrooms and Water Dispensers: Please move down one floor to use the facilities on the 3rd Floor (3F).
- Book Borrowing Services: If you need to borrow books located within the closed areas, please contact the staff at the circulation desk. Our team will retrieve the books for you and assist with the checkout process.
The Taoyuan Campus Library will closely monitor weather forecasts and urge contractors to expedite the repair process. Once the project is completed and passes safety inspections, the reopening date will be announced immediately on our official website.
