To celebrate MCU’s 67th anniversary, we look back on the journey from the founding of our institution, a path filled with many classic moments worth reminiscing about. Among these, Ming Chuan Junior Women’s Commercial College was promoted as Ming Chuan College in 1990 and the university celebration activities held by the first cohort of students during that time have left behind astonishing moments that everyone was anticipating to witness.
Now, let us come together to reminisce through photographs of the first celebration event after the promotion and search for our shared memories.

Activity 1: Happy Birthday to Ming Chuan University
❶Find a book title that contains any character from “Happy Birthday to Ming Chuan University” (homophones are also acceptable).
❷Borrow three books that meet the above criteria.
❸Leave a comment on IG/FB event post tagging a friend + wish #HappyBirthdayMingChuanUniversity
❹Register at the counter to exchange for a birthday gift.
⚠️ Limited to one gift per person.
Activity 2: Attend Exhibition for a Chance to Win Gifts
❶During the activity period, enter the venue with a valid student or staff ID and make sure to swipe for access.
❷Multiple entries in a single day can only count as one chance in the draw.
❸Attend the exhibition for a maximum of 13 chances to win.
🎁Prize drawing details: A total of 27 winners will receive a GU tote bag. (List of winners)
⚠️Open only to the university’s faculty, staff, and students. Temporary access pass holders are not eligible.
Other Items:
➡️ Winners will be drawn on 3/25 and announced on the library’s IG and the library’s website.
➡️ Awardees should visit the Library and pick up their prize within a week after the lucky draw result is released.
➡️ If awardees hold overseas nationality, they are required to submit 20% of the prize value as tax payment along with a photocopy of their passport and ARC.
➡️ Actual prizes may vary according to availability; the library reserves the right to replace the prize with an equivalent item without prior notice should the library encounter the situation of product unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances beyond control.
