Gender issues on campus can be theorized, which separates them from the circle of life. This library exhibition aims to transform gender equality from slogans into concrete actions, inviting participants to understand diverse gender perspectives through reading. The library invites readers to transcend the traditional binary boundary into a space of shared empathy.

“Label Removed Project” Interactive Wall
Have you ever been defined by a label?
You are welcome to join the “Label Removed Project” and generate new meaning to those terms through your action, as a response to exposing stereotypes.
A Wall of Stereotypical Labels, full of terms like sissy, leftover woman, nearly a man, overemotional, … will be set up in an exhibition area. Participants remove stereotypical labels, write reflections or blessings on the back, and place them on the “Reaffirmation Wall,” symbolizing the breaking of limitations and rebuilding of inclusive dialogue.
- Participate in the Label Removed Project to remove a label and write a reflection or blessing on the back.
- Share on IG/FB Stories with #ReadingAcrossBoundaries
- Borrow three physical books and show your story post to library staff
Pick one of two gifts including sanitary pads or label-erasing neutral pens upon completing your project!

Decode Mission: READ-define the World
Don’t let rumors hijack your mind! With critical and independent thinking, you can decode misinformation and hidden biases.
You are invited to join a mission going into different real-life contexts and use statistics, along with literature references, to adjust the course of your thinking. This can prevent you from spinning around in biases.
- Scan QR codes in the exhibition area to receive the Decode Mission.
- Complete the mission with full score.
- Present your score to the staff at the library counter to redeem a gift.
Gift: A pocket-size pack of moist towelettes.
